Order
Order Changes
We do not accept changes to order details once they have been finalized. Please ensure all order details are correct before placing your order.
Order Cancellations
We do not accept cancellations once an order has been finalized. Please double-check your order details before placing your order. If you placed an order by mistake or need to cancel due to unavoidable circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible. We may not be able to accommodate your request.
Order Confirmation Email
A confirmation email will be sent automatically after your order is placed. If you do not receive it, please check the following:
- Check if the email was sorted into a spam or junk mail folder.
- Check that your email address was entered correctly.
- Make sure you can receive emails from the domain “@asahi-archery.co.jp”.
If you still do not receive the email, please contact us through the inquiry form.
Countries We Ship To
We ship worldwide, with some regional exceptions due to safety or legal restrictions.
We cannot ship to U.S. military bases (APO/FPO), or regions such as Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico, as Asahi Archery has a distributor in the U.S. Please purchase from the U.S. distributor.

In the event that delivery to your specified region is deemed impossible due to social conditions, courier strikes, or other logistical disruptions, your order may be canceled and refunded.
Payment
Payment Methods
The following payment methods are accepted:

Payment methods cannot be changed after the order is completed. Please ensure your selection is correct before proceeding. If you have any questions regarding payment, feel free to contact us.
Issuing Receipts
Receipt issuance varies depending on the payment method:
- Credit Card: Your credit card statement can serve as the receipt.
- PayPal: The PayPal transaction record can serve as the receipt.
- Bank Transfer: The transfer receipt issued by your bank can serve as the receipt.
Taxes and Customs Duties
Depending on the destination country, VAT (Value Added Tax),
customs duties, and import taxes may apply to your order.
These charges are the responsibility of the customer and must be
paid directly to the local customs office or tax authority.
Please note that our company does not calculate or collect these fees at checkout.

While we offer international shipping, we are unable to assist with customs procedures, charges, or import-related issues (including duties, VAT, or import restrictions) that may occur in the destination country after dispatch.
Returns due to insufficient customs clearance or unpaid fees
will not be accepted.
Please be aware that packaging and preparation require
significant time before shipment,
and we may not be able to
accommodate re-shipping or case-by-case requests.
Be sure to check your country's import regulations and customs policies before placing your order.
Settlement Timing
At our store, payment is finalized only after we review and confirm your order details. This process is in place for the following reasons:
- To confirm the availability of ordered items
- To adjust the shipping cost based on the order contents
■ Payment Timing
For Credit Card, PayPal, and Other Online Payments:
Your payment is not finalized at the time of ordering. After
reviewing your order, we will manually process the payment. Once
this is done, your order will be officially confirmed.
*Please note that the transaction date on your credit card or payment statement may differ from the date you placed your order.
For Bank Transfer:
After reviewing your order, we will notify you of the final
amount and bank transfer information. Your order will be
officially confirmed once your payment has been received.
■ Stock Shortages & Shipping Fee Adjustments
In the event that any of the items you ordered are out of stock,
we will either cancel the order or contact you to discuss
alternative arrangements.
Please also note that depending on the combination of items,
shipping costs may be adjusted. For more details, please refer
to our About Shipping Fees.
Shipping
Shipping Carriers
We use shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and PEGASUS. The optimal shipping carrier will be selected by our store based on the order details. Please note that we do not accept requests for specific carriers.
Shipping to Multiple Addresses
We currently do not offer shipping to multiple addresses in a single order. Please place separate orders for each destination.
Delivery Dates
Delivery times vary depending on product availability and order details.
- In-stock items: Usually shipped within 7 business days after payment confirmation.
- Made-to-order or custom items: Shipping times will be informed individually. It may take up to about 5 months.
- If your order includes both in-stock and made-to-order items: The entire order will be shipped together once the made-to-order item is ready.
Please note that changes to delivery dates may not be possible. If you have any questions about your order, contact us as early as possible.
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees vary depending on the total weight and dimensions of the package. We have extensive experience with international shipping and have established cost-effective methods through direct contracts with global couriers, which are not commonly used by domestic archery stores in Japan. This allows us to offer significantly lower shipping fees.
How to check shipping fees: Shipping costs will be shown during checkout. Please confirm before completing your order.
Shipping fees are automatically calculated based on the quantity of items purchased.
※ All prices in the table are shown in Japanese Yen (JPY). The final payment will be converted to your local currency based on the current exchange rate at checkout.

Total estimated shipping fee: ¥36,000
Note: Shipping is calculated based on rates at the time of order. If a more accurate calculation after ordering results in a lower cost, the difference will be deducted from your total.For certain large items, special rates apply: ¥32,000 for the first unit and ¥5,000 for each additional unit. Applicable items are clearly indicated in their product descriptions.
Shipping Confirmation Email
A shipping confirmation email will be sent automatically once your order has been shipped. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder or contact us through the inquiry form.
Tracking Your Order
After your order is shipped, we will send you an email with a tracking number. You can check the real-time delivery status using the shipping carrier’s website. Please note that some carriers may take time to generate the tracking number.
If Your Product Arrives Damaged
Our products, including archery gear, are delicate and can be affected by temperature, humidity, and impacts during international transport. Since it can be difficult to distinguish between manufacturing defects and shipping damage, we generally do not offer blanket returns or exchanges.
If there is significant damage or clear defects, please contact us within 5 days of receiving the item. We will carefully review the case based on the condition of the packaging, product photos, and a description of the issue, and respond individually.
Product
Custom-Made Products
At Asahi Archery, we accept orders for custom-made products tailored to your needs. Depending on the product, there are two types of ordering methods:
Eligible Products: Only products labeled as "Custom-Made" on the product page are eligible. Orders must be placed via the dedicated form or instructions provided on each product’s detail page.
How to Order:
1. Order Directly from the Product Page (e.g. Hakama):
- Click the “Custom-Made” button and fill out the required information in the form.
- Add the product to your cart and complete the checkout process.
- Once payment is confirmed, your order is finalized and production will begin.
2. Order After Contact and Quotation (e.g. Kake gloves, Kimono):
- If a custom order form is displayed on the product page, please submit a hand outline and/or sizing information, depending on the product.
- We will communicate via email to finalize the order details (e.g., size, design, specifications).
- Once the details are confirmed, we will send you a payment link. Complete the payment to finalize the order.
- When payment is confirmed, your order is officially placed. The production and shipping process will then begin.
Important Notes:
- Cancellations are not accepted after an order is confirmed. Please double-check your details before submission.
Shipping: Custom-made items take longer to produce than regular products. Once production is complete, we will notify you of the estimated delivery date and proceed with shipping.
Membership
About Customer Accounts
Our store uses Shopify's new login system with one-time passcode authentication.
No password is required — a 6-digit authentication code will be sent to the email address you enter at login, and you can use that code to log in.
Creating an Account:
If you’re a new customer, your account will be automatically
created when you enter your email address during checkout.
If you’ve ordered from us before, there’s no need to register
again — your previous information will be automatically linked
to the new system.
What You Can Do with Your Account:

・Edit your profile information such as shipping address and
name
・Manage saved payment methods
・Quickly reorder from past purchases, and more
Creating an account allows for a smoother and more convenient shopping experience.
How to Change Account Information
You can change your account information by following the steps below:

Enter or select the new information and confirm the changes.
Support
Returns and Exchanges
Due to the nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for customer convenience. Please confirm your order details carefully before placing an order.
If you receive a product with significant damage or clear defects, please contact us within 5days of delivery. We will review your case carefully based on the condition of the packaging, product photos, and a description of the issue, and provide individual guidance regarding the possibility of a return or exchange.
*Products returned without prior notice will not be accepted and
will not be refunded.
*If we reasonably determine that action is required based on
applicable laws in your country, we will take appropriate steps
in compliance with those laws.
Refunds
If a return or exchange is approved, only the product price will be refunded. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
Customs Duties: Customs duties and import taxes are paid directly by the customer and are not refundable by us. Even if a product is returned, these fees remain non-refundable. If customs fees arise during return shipping, the customer must resolve them directly with the customs office or shipping carrier.
Refund Process: Once your refund is processed, we will send a confirmation email.
Product Warranty
Our products, including archery gear, are delicate and may be affected by factors such as temperature, humidity, and impact during international shipping. As such, we do not provide repair services for items shipped internationally.
