Hogetsu is Asahi Kyugu's original premium glove.
Smoked leather becomes resistant to moisture such as sweat, making this Yugake a lifelong tool that becomes an irreplaceable part of your practice.
The thickest and strongest part of the leather is positioned on the middle finger, where the load is greatest, ensuring a superior finish.
To enhance durability, we use thicker leather for the middle finger section than for the main body.
The hikae (wrist support) is also shaped for easy torikake, and by using it without gripping too hard, you can continue to draw without the glove losing its shape.
It is sewn with silk thread, which is gentle on the leather and causes minimal strain.
The transition between the twisted leather (hineri-gawa) and the index finger is shaped to fit the fork of the hand perfectly, preventing the nock from slipping.
Once worn, it fits the hand so well that there is no sagging or wrinkling of the leather.
You will experience a remarkably smooth touch and a lightweight feel.
