Yumi Bukuro Ukon
Designed to allow stringing through the hole in the bow nock with the string on the outside of the cloth to prevent bacterial growth on bamboo bows and to keep string kusune (twisting) from affecting the bow.
There is a small opening at the top that allows the string to come out.
